- 2004 -

After leaving The Empire State and serving in the United States Air Force, Stephen Mylett eventually became
ASSISTANT POLICE CHIEF
@CorpusChristiPD...

... and sued his own police chief over "white discrimination"

(SPOILER: MYLETT LOST the LAWSUIT but he learned some tricks)

| | | || |||

-- 2011 --

Mylett then left CORPUS CHRISTI in disgrace to join:
Article: "Southlake TX: America's RICHEST City" ...
| | | | || |||

--- 2015 ---
Mylett decided to leave Southlake ... why?
No one knows...
|
|
Mylett then became Chief ...but lived in Bothell  Washington
|

City Manager Brad Miyake of Bellevue, Washington
hired Mylett over in-house candidate
|

Mylett later fires Jolliffe; Jolliffe sues City, is re-instated and retires!

Mylett promised big:

"New Bellevue police chief Mylett vows to 'walk the walk' " (?)

"Following a year-long search, 49-year-old Steve Mylett was sworn in Monday as Bellevue's new police chief. Mylett comes from Southlake Texas - a city less than a third the size of Bellevue, but not without similarities - Southlake* is an affluent, growing suburb with relatively low crime.
One of Mylett's first challenges in Bellevue will be restoring public trust in a department that's had some embarrassing high profile incidents involving officers and commanders over the past few years.
Mylett said he plans to lead by example and expects his commanders to do the same."

"We will walk the walk and talk the talk,
we will epitomize integrity, honesty and morality,
leading the Bellevue Police Department."
- Chief Stephen Mylett

After 2015, however, there was a problem for Chief Mylett !
|
"Seattle Times reported (http://bit.ly/2eVmmPO ) 2015 data from U.S. Census Bureau indicates Bellevue’s white population has fallen below 50 percent mark - a decrease from 2010, when whites accounted for 59 percent of the city’s 139,000 residents.
|
|
|

Remember...? Chief Mylett's TEXAS cities of choice?
80% white - higher than =72%; 70%.

Mylett has good "friends" here  - like councilmembers Jennifer S Robertson and Jared Nieuwenhuis, and Bellevue Mayor(s) Claudia Balducci and Lynne Robinson...

Oopsie!
...areas of Bellevue are still majority White, and the "cities" that border to the west shoreline are 80% White; made to keep it that way in the 1950's... yes, because of racism.
|

|

|
...even in 2016, Bellevue police started to sue Chief Mylett...

---- 2016 ----

A former @bvuepd Bellevue cop sues Mylett, alleging racism and corruption.

Chief Mylett says "department needs more diversity".

'Currently our police department does not reflect the community we're serving and it is our mission to get as close as possible for the department to represent the citizens we serve,' said Mylett"

------ 2020 ------
Mylett would rather be in Colorado @ThorntonPolice (77% white area) than even look at another black person in King County.
|
Chief Mylett thinks Blue Lives Matter, and voted for Trump

|
City of Bellevue Councilmember Jennifer Robertson
really loved Chief Mylett and how he supported Trump and QAnon.
|
She defamed me and called me a Twitter Troll.
|
I sued for her recall.
|
Mylett didn't make it to Thornton CO ... how about Akron, OH?

Akron's police chief sat down for a one-on-one interview with News 5 Investigator Tara Morgan revealing death threats against his officers and hinting at a potential change in protocol.

Chief Stephen Mylett answered tough questions about the gun, the handcuffs and whether the officers who shot and killed Walker June 27 have made any formal statements yet.

Last Sunday, Mylett said they didn’t have to.

"My understanding is that BCI has started to take statements from the officers,” Mylett said.

Eight officers are on paid administrative leave after the deadly shooting that has gained national attention.

=======MORE BACKGROUND INFO: ========
Even before Mylett's attempt to stab the other command staff in the back and rally help to his cause, Mylett pretended he was going to implement change.

Mylett never did... but he did gain a lot of help from the Old Guard including James C. Hershey, and Patrick Arpin and John Hoffman.
Hershey is one of command staff who obstructed justice by preventing investigation into my complaint.

You remember CPT James C. Hershey?
who, in earlier years as a Lietuenant, tried to ruin Marcella Fogg's career as a favor to Redmond Police Commander Shari Shovlin ?
.. and got the City of Bellevue sued for $3 Million dollars.

--- BELLEVUE WA POLICE NEWS ---

-2020-

Shortly after complaints of an officer’s social media activity on June 2, 2020, the Bellevue Police Department hired an independent fact-finding investigator to examine the officer’s posts.  Officer Nick Roche was immediately placed on administrative leave pending the investigation.

Following an exhaustive review, the investigator found that while the officer’s social media posts were “Ill-advised and imprudent,” she concluded, “There is an absence of evidence suggesting that Ofc. Roche ascribes to or harbors alt-right or extremist beliefs, or any other improper ideologies or biases that call into question his fitness to serve as a law enforcement officer.”

Bellevue Police Chief Steve Mylett did find the officer violated the Bellevue Police Department’s Standards of Conduct Policy 11.00.240.

“The Bellevue Police Department takes complaints of an officer’s integrity and judgement very seriously,” stated Chief Mylett. “In this case, the investigator determined no impartiality, but the officer’s social media activity was in poor judgement and in violation of BPD policy.”

Officer Roche received a letter of reprimand in his file.

The officer has returned to full duty.

Video of Bellevue officer William Dowsing's 2018 forceful restraint of unarmed woman goes viral

Update: After the video spread, Bellevue police announced it was prohibiting neck restraints.

The police chief has called the video of the officer’s actions “disturbing” but “reasonable for the resistance he was faced with.”

The above incident happened the same year as this:

"A Bellevue police officer is currently under investigation for failing to intervene at the scene of a hate crime"

Documents charging the suspect, Robert Panera, with malicious harassment detail the officer’s inaction on January 23. Bellevue PD spokesperson Officer Seth Tyler told KING 5 that a complaint was filed against Detective Jim Lindquist and an ongoing internal investigation is in its final stages.

Three Bellevue officers responded to the transit center and contacted Lindquist. The charging documents say Lindquist “was initially dealing with the parties involved,” but the incident was handed off to the on-duty officers. The officers spoke to Panera and an “older black male,” who Lindquist told the other officers were involved in an altercation and a third male that took off on a bus, according to charging documents. They spoke with both men, but “were not able to develop probable cause for a crime that involved the two.”
An informational report was filed by one of the officers. Later that day, the male that left the scene on the bus made contact with a Bellevue Police captain to share his account of the afternoon and say that Panera’s statement was incorrect. Over a phone call, he told the captain he began recording a disturbance between Panera and the other male. Panera saw the caller, who is African-American, recording and began yelling at him, according to documents.

Update: Lindquist allowed to retire, no one knows what happened. He also got City sued before for false arrest.

BELLEVUE, Wash. - The Bellevue Police Department launched an internal investigation into an incident Saturday, May 13 in which officers used a Taser on a teenager. On Monday the teen's parents filed a complaint against the officers involved; the police department is conducting a "use of force" investigation.

"When I viewed the video certainly you see what you see," Bellevue Police Chief Steve Mylett said. "Then I watched it like 15 different times and I slow-motioned it numerous times.

Each time I watch it, I pick up something new and I hear something different. So I would ask people to use a little bit of caution to rush to judgment based on one minute and 47 seconds of lengthier police contact*," he said.

Bellevue prostitution cases dropped after police error

BELLEVUE, Wash. - "Misdemeanor charges filed against more than half of the 110 men arrested during a prostitution sting operation in Bellevue last summer were recently tossed out after it was discovered that police had unintentionally recorded audio between the would-be sex buyers and undercover female officers.

According to the city of Bellevue, detectives used hidden cameras to document elements of the crime of patronizing a prostitute. “Unfortunately, audio conversations were unintentionally captured between the suspect and the undercover officers in 61 of the 110 cases,” the city wrote in a news release."

PS: I have another twitter or two...

One was a parody of Chief Mylett.

He tried to accuse me IN FEDERAL COURT of Felony Criminal Impersonation during my lawsuit and refused to tell the KING COUNTY PROSECUTOR I committed such heinous crimes... because I wasn't... it looked GREAT in the Court Filing. Gotta look good, even if you LIE...

In fact, here is a screenshot from when it was LOCKED, so I couldn't change it:

You can also see me reminding them their TWITTER has no social media policy link... a policy they DON'T follow anyway.

Mylett denied that too, and just talked about Facebook when I complained about Twitter.

What is wrong with him that he evades such simple questions and twists things around?

He will even go so far as to try and convince you the truth is just a position to be argued.

This kind of retaliatory nonsense is unacceptable from a paid professional, but we pay him MORE?
